Packages
6 Hour Charter
When retention for Hatchery COHO is open, usually each licence allows 2. Dock to fishing grounds is about 25 minutes depending on the wind. Time it right with the tide on a 6-hour charter and we’ll have a blast reeling them in.
8 Hour Charter
The 8 hour trip gives us a little more time to fish our local waters, taking advantage of 2 tide changes, which is really beneficial. The best fishing times are an hour before and an hour after the change, with the highs providing access to areas that are not typically fishable, and the lows exposing areas where fish congregate.
10 Hour Charter
A 10 hour booking will allow us plenty of time to cross over to Gabriola Island or head to the Sunshine Coast. Crossing the Strait is about 40 miles and takes roughly 1.5 hours depending on wind. The Sunshine Coast is about the same. Once we arrive our options are usually: 1 Lingcod, 1 Rock Fish and 2 Hatchery COHO per licence. Hopefully on July 15th DFO will allow retention of Chinook or Kings.
